About Us
Ackermann's Apparel is a Canadian and US corporate uniforms and business apparel company specializing in high quality and durability business suiting, shirts and accessories for both individual buyers and large office or front of house teams.Â
Founded in Montreal, Canada in 2018 where our Canadian business Ackermann's Apparel Incorporated initially started, we have been supplying individuals and businesses with professional business apparel all across the country. Our business-to-business clients include hotels, restaurants, office teams, facilities management companies, casinos, country clubs, movie and theater production companies, government institutions and other resellers. Since 2024 our Canadian operations have been based in Newfoundland and Labrador.
In early 2026 we launched our US operations - Ackermann's Apparel LLC to bring the same high quality tailoring and uniform apparel offerings to the US market.Â
With over 20 years of combined experience in corporate uniform and work wear industry in the UK and Canada, we know that people want to look and feel great in what they wear at work. We also know that from business perspective, when ordering for a team of people, it's important to have range and style continuity, for it to be easy care and long lasting and of course, to be priced reasonably. Over the years the uniform industry has shifted into mass produced man-made fabrics such as polyester in order to put the price first and quality and comfort second. Needless to say, it's not the kind of wearer experience that we're after!
